We've talked about the power of community and connectivity quite a few times, from our inaugural edition of CC on Artist Collectives, Centers, and Cooperatives, to our most recent edition on the Cultural Coalition of Wisconsin.
The holiday season offers a time to reflect on community, and how we connect to each other. A few weeks ago, we mentioned the impact and importance of supporting local artists at holiday art markets. There are many other ways to support your local arts community during the holidays, from attending a show to going to a craft making class with your family at your local library. This article from Theatre Huntsville might give you a few more ideas.
We also invite you to connect with us at the Arts Board, through What's Afoot Backstage, our newsletters, our website, our social media, or by emailing us (artsboard@wisconsin.gov). We are grateful for all of the opportunities for connection in 2025, and we look forward to connecting with more creatives and communities in 2026.
