2009 Submission Instructions

Sponsors interested in listing a show in the 2009 Wisconsin Art & Craft Fairs Directory may submit their information online using the Arts Board’s submission form (link to the right). The events will be printed in over 50,000 booklets distributed by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, and listed on both the Wisconsin Arts Board’s website and Portal Wisconsin’s website at www.portalwisconsin.org.

Please be aware that there is a listing fee required to cover the cost of printing. The fee ranges from $25 to $250. You may calculate your cost by using the formula below.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • The show/festival must be held in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Handiwork of artists must be available for sale to the general public.
  • The event must occur between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Before filling out the online forms, please make sure you have all necessary information available, listed below. Once you start to fill out the forms, you will not be able to save your information and return.
  • Complete separate submissions for each weekend or event.
  • Verify the event date with a 2009 calendar, not the current year calendar.
  • Please do not type in ALL CAPS. Use standard upper/lower case.
  • After submitting and receiving your confirmation by email, immediately mail a check made payable to “Wisconsin Arts Board.” Identify the event that you are paying for by noting your Registration Number, listed in the confirmation email. Mail to:

  • Your fee must be postmarked no later than one week after the online submission deadline. Events received through the online form will not be published unless we receive the listing fee.
  • A copy of the printed directory will be mailed in January to the person named as the Contact in the listing.

Listing Fee Formula

Listing fees are calculated according to a formula (Number of Exhibitors x Lowest Booth Fee x .025) with the amount—minimum $25 and maximum $250 —automatically emailed to you after you submit your online form. To finalize your application, listing fees must be mailed to the Wisconsin Arts Board office after your online submission.
