Founded in 1916, the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering excellence in fine crafts—and to making them more significant in the cultural life of
Wisconsin. Membership is open to all individuals who share this interest—from professional artisans, students, and gallery and shop owners to educators, collectors, museum curators and administrators.
Members’ work represents a wide range of media, including ceramics, fiber, metal, jewelry, glass, wood, enamels, leather, photography, sculpture, handmade paper, and mixed media. The organization is
managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

- Providing public access to quality crafts through exhibitions, programs, and fairs;
- Nurturing creative growth through an interchange of ideas;
