Mission Statement
The Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets is an organization of persons who love poetry, who write poetry, and who want to make the State of Wisconsin poetry conscious.

Our objectives are to secure fuller recognition of poetry as a cultural force, as a civilizing influence, and as a means to create a greater appreciation of the art of the poet.

We encourage Wisconsin poets through public readings and semi-annual conferences to perfect their work and grow in the medium of poetry.

We want to encourage the reading of and feeling for poetry in schools, in public places, and in the homes of Wisconsin.
