The board and staff members of the Wisconsin Arts Board have seen and heard the immense challenges that Wisconsin’s creative communities have faced over the last two years. In our ongoing listening sessions, we heard about the impacts of the pandemic, social reckoning, and harsh economic realities affecting artists, arts organizations, creative businesses, and communities across the state and country.
We've also seen and heard hope in the form of fresh ideas, budding partnerships, and innovative ways to make the arts more accessible and recognized as critical components in our recovery.
As Wisconsin's state arts agency, we seek your input as we determine how best to invest the resources that we steward (funding, time, convening power, expertise) into that recovery over the next three years.
