Using a Fiscal Receiver

The fiscal receiver, as well as the grantee organization, is fiscally and legally responsible for any grant award. The fiscal receiver, with the applicant organization, signs the grant application. In addition, a written contract (Letter of Agreement) between the organization and the fiscal receiver must be submitted with the application form that specifies the responsibilities of each party. When a grant is awarded, the fiscal receiver, with the grantee, signs the grant contract agreeing to all of its terms. The fiscal receiver receives the grant payment directly from the Arts Board.
