Wisconsin Arts Board’s 2021/2022 Town Halls: Call for Public Input on the WAB’s Next Three Years of Activities

The Wisconsin Arts Board (WAB) requests your input on its strategic plan for fiscal years 2023 through 2025 (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2025).

As Wisconsin's state arts agency (which nurtures creativity, cultivates expression, promotes the arts, supports the arts in education, stimulates community and economic development and serves as a resource for people of every culture and heritage), public input is fundamental to our work.  Every three years we initiate a planning process for a three year plan to guide that work.

To inform this planning process, we are holding a series of four virtual discussions in December 2021 – our Town Halls.  The thoughts and perspectives that you share at these Town Halls  will be essential in guiding the agency's focus during this time of recalibration and recovery. With your help, we will create a plan for the short and longer term that supports the capacity of WI's artists and arts organization to create great art, help heal communities and bridge social divides, rebuild the economy, and support positive, life-enhancing experiences for all people.

Please join WAB staff and board members at one of the following Town Halls:

We invite you to register for one of these Town Halls at this address: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6NRSCZF.  Registration is not required, but is welcomed so we can plan for a good use of our time together.  Persons with disabilities who would like to request accommodations or have questions about access may contact Dale Johnson (dale.johnson@wisconsin.gov) by December 3, 2021. A good-faith effort will be made to fulfill requests. A captioned version of this presentation will be made available shortly after the event on the WAB's YouTube Channel.
