With the Fourth of July coming up this week, we want to take a moment to recognize this country we call home, and start gearing up for America's semiquincentennial in 2026, or the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

America 250

Leading up to the largest commemoration and celebration in American history, America250 is planning a multi-year, national effort to engage, educate, and unite Americans from sea to shining sea through the following tentpole programs. The U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission has put out an open call, asking the public to share stories, or reflections on America's past, present, and future. Share your story. The commission will also be re-opening the America’s Field Trip contest. Sign up here to receive updates on the contest.
