Welcome to our series, Spotlighting Wisconsin! This series spotlights arts organizations across the state (including some of our wonderful grantees), and showcases the amazing work they do in their communities, along with sharing the why, or what drives them as an organization to do the work they do.

Campanile Center for the Arts
Minocqua
Celebrating its 20th year, the Campanile Center for the Arts has been a cultural hub of the community, transforming a historic space into a vibrant home for creativity, learning, and connection. What began as a bold vision to preserve and repurpose an iconic building has grown into a welcoming destination where people of all ages gather to experience the arts. From its earliest days, the Campanile has been rooted in the belief that the arts should be accessible, inspiring, and deeply woven into community life.
Over the past two decades, the Campanile has presented thousands of performances, exhibitions, and educational programs spanning music, children's theater, visual arts, as well as other programs that support lifelong learning. Renowned touring artists have shared the stage with regional and local talent, while galleries and classrooms have drawn in the experienced and the curious. School matinees, workshops, and outreach programs have and continue to introduce generations of students to the power of the arts, nurturing creativity and imagination.
Today, the Campanile Center for the Arts stands as both a reflection of its history and a launchpad for the future. Sustained by the support of artists, volunteers, donors, and audiences, it continues to evolve—embracing new ideas, expanding access, and strengthening its role as a gathering place for shared experiences. As the Campanile celebrates 20 years, it honors the vision and dedication that built it while looking ahead with excitement to the stories, connections, and creativity still to come.
