The House of Resident Artists Doers LLC. was established in 2020 by multidisciplinary artist, Brandon Minga. It started in a small in a 1,000 sq ft space in Riverwest, where a handful of artists built lofted studios and creative infrastructure during the early phase of the pandemic. In its next iteration and location, it expanded its facilities to ~13,000 sq ft with roughly 18 members. Then continued to grow to include 35,000+ sq ft with 60+ members, significantly expanding its creative footprint.It recently relocated to a new address at 324 N 12th St in the historic Design District, in a 67,000 sq ft building that will eventually become its long-term home (with the Aether Society). House of RAD is poised to grow even further with the Aether Society project—an adaptive reuse of a historic industrial space into a comprehensive artist incubator and creative hub. This future phase aims to include expanded studios, fabrication labs, gallery space, and event areas to serve artists and the public.
