This series will spotlight arts organizations across the state (including some of our wonderful grantees), and showcase the amazing work they do in their communities, along with sharing the "why" or what drives them as an organization to do the work they do.

StageQ is an LGBTQ+ community theatre whose mission is to celebrate and advance queer representation through theatre by and about LGBTQ+ persons. For 24 years, StageQ has put focus on the lives and experiences of queer people. By bringing art about queer people--by queer people--to the community, we have offered the city of Madison over 80 theatrical productions along with presentations, discussions, photography exhibitions, and playwright festivals.​
